Our cheetah Cinnabar, is 23" tall (that’s basically 2 feet)! She is sturdy, fluffy and well-crafted to stand the test of time. Most importantly, she is super-cute, yes, we had to say it again. Her unusual name means mercury which is so fitting, as cheetahs are like quicksilver in terms of speed.
Cheetah comes from the Hindi word Chita which means the spotted one. And Chitta, also Hindi is a single word that means both head and heart! (We don’t have a word like that in English.) So, Cinnabar offers your child both knowledge and love at the same time!!!
Cheetahs do not have the ability to roar like a lion, but they meow, purr, and emit what's known as a chirrup, possibly the sweetest and gentlest noise you'll ever hear from a large cat! Wow - so much your child can learn from Cinnabar. If you wish to hear a cheetah’s sound click on this You Tube presentation: https://youtu.be/E6Qh3VTmtxU
Apparently Cheetahs like the quiet life, particularly the females. Cinnabar will be happy to relax right beside your child even when he or she plays with other toys. Be warned, she has excellent vision and will protect her friends!
Folklore tells us that the spiritual meaning of a cheetah is focus, flexibility, speed, persistency and adaptability, which is a great message to encourage your daughter or son!
Cinnabar would love to connect with your child!
